Hello!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research (STOR) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My advisor is Prof. Vladas Pipiras and my research focuses on sampling and calibration of multi-fidelity models. Prior to my Ph.D., I received my master’s degree in Statistics at Seoul National University under the supervision of Prof. Hee-Seok Oh.

My doctoral study delves into uncertainty quantification and modeling extremal behavior of dynamical systems. Based on my background in probability and statistical theory, and hands-on experience in computer science, algorithms, and DL/ML models, I focus on applying theories to large-scale real-world data, honing my numerical and quantitative intuition. Applications include time series data and reduced order modeling.
